[EN] Hello, Thanks for the fav and your comment ! I look your painting and this makes me want to try acrylic landscapes. You work on small formats and this requires precision, it's a lot of work! Welcome and keep sharing your work mostly! (My english is not so good but I try :p) .

Thank you for your advice :). I will motivate me to use more suitable paper (but is less sweet I think and I love the softness of fine paper). What paper do you use for you work ? Paper purchased in shopping centers or at an art dealer?
Rafi-Weiss Featured By Owner Jul 10, 2015
Well the reason you want paper designed for watercolour is because the watercolour paper can take a lot of water without bending or worse, coming apart. Watercolour papers are more likely to be found in art shops. They come in three different types. Hot press, which is smooth. Cold Press, which is a little more rough textured, and Rough, which has even more "tooth" (rough texture) than Cold Press. I personally use Cold Press. I hear most artists are happy with it. But if you like smoothness, go for Hot Press. The paper will be much thicker than what youre used to, but that is so that it can withstand the onslaught of water.

I hope this helps. Best of luck in the future with your watercolour endeavors. Feel free to ask me anything you like about the medium.
